The 5 Best Beach Clubs in Bali Explained for Normal Humans
May 9, 2026

If you’re trying to do Bali properly, at some point you’ll end up at a beach club.
It’s basically unavoidable now.
But not all beach clubs are built the same.
Some are chaotic in a fun way. Some are chaotic in a “why is a guy filming TikToks in the bathroom mirror?” kind of way.
Here’s the real lowdown on five of the best beach clubs in Bali right now.
FINNS Beach Club
FINNS is basically Bali’s version of a giant adult playground.
Four pools, nine bars, DJs all day, daybeds everywhere, sunsets directly over Berawa Beach and enough shirtless Aussies to recreate Bondi beach.
If you’ve never been, imagine someone took a music festival, a sports bar, a luxury resort and a spring break movie… then blended them together with Bintang beer.
The funny thing is, people love pretending they’re “too cool” for FINNS, but somehow the place is still packed almost every single day of the year.
Because deep down, humans are simple creatures.
Sunsets, loud music, frozen cocktails and attractive people near water still works every time.
The best part about FINNS is the energy. Even if you only planned to stay for one drink, suddenly it’s six hours later and you’re discussing property prices in Perth with a shoe-less bloke named Brayden.
Potato Head Beach Club
Potato Head is what happens when a beach club develops self-awareness.
It’s stylish, artsy, and somehow manages to make recycled materials feel cool.
The architecture alone is iconic. That giant curved wall made from old shutters has probably appeared in more Instagram stories than some celebrities.
But unlike a lot of beach clubs that feel like they’re trying too hard, Potato Head actually delivers.
The cocktails are good, the food’s properly solid, the music selection is usually classy without sounding like elevator jazz, and the crowd tends to be a little more “creative director on annual leave” than “buck’s party gone rogue”.
It’s also one of the few places where you can genuinely spend the entire day without feeling mentally exhausted by 4pm.
There’s still influencer energy floating around of course, but Potato Head feels more curated than chaotic.
It’s like FINNS went to art school and started reading design magazines.
La Brisa Bali
La Brisa feels like pirates discovered interior design.
Built almost entirely from reclaimed wood, the place looks like Captain Jack Sparrow retired and opened a boutique sunset venue in Canggu.
Everything about it screams “rustic boho Bali”, from the tangled wooden pathways to the palm trees and oceanfront lounges.
And somehow, despite being ridiculously photogenic, it still feels relaxed.
That’s the magic trick.
A lot of Bali venues become victims of their own Instagram success. La Brisa somehow still feels charming instead of painfully self-aware.
The sunsets here are genuinely elite too. Especially when the sky goes orange over Echo Beach and everyone pauses their conversations for 30 seconds.
Food’s solid, cocktails are dangerous in the sneaky way, and the atmosphere works whether you’re on a date, or trying to convince yourself you’ll “move to Bali permanently one day”.
Sundays Beach Club
Sundays is the beach club people talk about after they get home.
Mostly because it doesn’t actually feel like a typical Bali beach club.
First, you take an inclinator down the cliffs in Uluwatu like you’re entering a secret billionaire hideout. Then suddenly you’re standing on actual white sand beside crystal-clear water wondering why the rest of Bali traffic exists at all.
This place leans heavily into the “tropical paradise” fantasy and honestly… fair enough. It works.
The vibe is far more chilled than the Canggu madness. People come here to swim, kayak, snorkel, lie around under umbrellas and slowly lose interest in returning to normal society.
Then at sunset, they light bonfires on the beach.
Which sounds cheesy until you’re actually sitting there with a drink watching the sky turn pink.
At that point, resistance is futile.
Tropical Temptation Beach Club
Tropical Temptation is newer-school Bali beach club energy.
Big pools. Big cliff views. Big “we spent serious money building this place” vibes.
Sitting above Melasti Beach, the venue feels polished and cinematic without becoming completely soulless, which is harder to pull off than people think.
The crowd here is usually a mix of couples, groups and people trying very hard to look fashionable.
You’ll see flowing linen shirts, dramatic sunglasses and enough staged candid photos to fill an entire modelling portfolio.
But credit where it’s due, the place is stunning.
The ocean views are ridiculous, the setup is genuinely luxurious, and unlike some mega beach clubs, you don’t feel like you’re being acoustically assaulted by EDM from 11 in the morning.
It’s more refined chaos.
The Recovery Session at Dod’s Burger x MeatCraft
Let’s be honest.
After a full day of beach clubs, overpriced cocktails, and sunburn… eventually your body starts asking for one thing:
A proper burger.
A real burger.
That’s where Dod’s Burger x MeatCraft enters the story like a cheat code.
The Seminyak outlet sits dangerously close to Bintang Supermarket, which means thousands of tourists accidentally make the best food decision of their holiday after wandering around dehydrated.
Meanwhile, the newer Cemagi outlet feels like the burger equivalent of finding a secret surfing spot before influencers discover it.
And honestly, after fighting beach club traffic all day, sitting down with a proper burger near the beach starts feeling more like spiritual recovery.
